METRONIS

Bright sunny yellow in color with greenish reflections, Metronis is our interpretation of the Garganega grape. From vines of over forty years with low yield, the fruit carefully selected in late harvest is expressed with an identifying aromatic profile and an enveloping palate. The nose opens up delicate aromas of white flowers and hints of fresh white pulp fruit, aromatic herbs, rosemary, lemon balm and tea leaves. Of balanced freshness on the palate, the gustatory notes show soft and warm flavors, round and elegant, it closes with a finish of almond and white pepper. Destined to refine over time, it is a wine for the whole year, served at 8-10 °C in summer, it harmoniously accompanies fish dishes, crusted salmon, cod alla vicentina, in the cooler months perfect paired with risotto, fried vegetables , rabbit or exotic flavors of oriental cuisine.

Production method:

Metronis 2022 is made from hand-selected Garganega grapes harvested late. It undergoes immediate destemming and gentle direct pressing. Cold decanting is followed by a slow fermentation at low temperatures. Towards the end of fermentation, the wine is transferred into acacia wood.
